The
Awakening
Billye Brim (with whom I have been aquainted
with for many years) was at a prayer meeting at her Prayer
Mountain Lodge. They were praying about, and interceding for,
the upcoming elections when the
Lord gave her a Word about the 2008 Presidential election.
The Lord said that there is only one hope
for America , and it is not a man or a political party!
He
said "The only hope for
America is an awakening to God!
Miss Brim went on to say that she
got to thinking about it, and said "If the best man in the country
got elected, it would make no difference without America waking
up to God!"
She said they spent some time in real weeping
and repentance, and began praying again but for an awakening
to God!
A Pastor friend and his wife, my wife Bonnie
and I, had the pleasure of attending Billye's meeting in Branson
this past October, and were greatly moved by the call to prayer
for this awakening to take place!!
So when we got home, the Pastor
and I, and our wives, were compelled by the Holy Ghost to start
a prayer meeting to specifically pray about this demonic attack
against our great nation. I call it "Prayer with an
attitude!" Make
no mistake about it, satan is pulling out all the stops, and
is trying to take America down!
Psalm 11:3
3If the foundations be destroyed, what
can the righteous do?

The very Christian foundation, and fabric
that made this country great are under an all out attack by
satan and his minions. Many people and politicians are being
duped, and playing into satan's hands!
Our Holy Spirit inspired Constitution
is being challenged by our politically correct oriented
politicians. They say it's too old fashioned! It must be brought
up to date!
But I say Truth is always Truth! No
matter how long it in existance!
Romans 1:22
22Professing themselves to be wise, they
became fools,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible
God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds,
and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24Wherefore God also gave them up to
uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour
their own bodies between themselves:
25Who changed the truth of God into
a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than
the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Why is this being done?
Because we as a nation are sending the light of the glorious
Gospel to nations in darkness! To people without God, strangers
from the Covenant, to a lost and an undone, hopeless people!
We (The Church) allowed satan
(by staying indifferent and prayerless) to take prayer out of
schools, the 10 commandments out of public places, to put pornography
on our airwaves and the internet, to cause the abortion of 45
million precious babies, and may I say casinos on every block
almost, and it is time for the church to rise up out of complacency,
and apathy and take her rightful place!
Well, you may say "We already know
this, ...but what is the answer to all this?
God!
It is time for the church to get on its
knees and begin to pray! All the while remembering
James 5:16b KJV. "The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
Amplifed Version says it like this:
The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer
of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic
in its working].
John Wesley made this statement "It
seems that God is limited as to what he can do for humanity unless
someone asks Him to!"
Or James 4:2 "You have not because
you ask not!"
Many in the Church have
entered into a place of slothfulness! Self centeredness! Even
many of our ministers have watched almost helplessly, as though
nothing can be done!
But I have news, Church !
We have been given charge and authority over
this earth by God; and we had better stand up and fight!
Can I prove this scripturally? Yes I Can!
Ephesians 6:10-18
10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the
Lord, and in the power of His might.
11Put on the whole armour of God, that
ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole
armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil
day, and having done all, to stand.
14Stand therefore, having your
loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate
of righteousness;
15And your feet shod with the preparation
of the gospel of peace;
16Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of
the wicked.
17And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
(Notice all this is PRAYER
ARMOR!)
18Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with
all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
(Notice we are not at war with
men)
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness
in high places.
Luke 10:19 (this is Jesus
talking to all Christians!)
19Behold, I give unto you power to tread
on serpents and scorpions, and over all
the power of the enemy:
and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
God's power has been given to the Church
over all devils and demons!
Let's take that power and pray
and take this country back!
So, with urgency, I call on all Christians
everywhere to join us in real Holy Ghost lead prayer for America
!!
